Chamber to hold a budget briefing on Tuesday evening

Mid Louth Independent - - NEWS -

DROGHEDA & District Chamber in association with McEvoy Craig Accountants & Auditors will host an evening briefing on the Budget on Tuesday October 10th (5.45-7.15pm) at Bru, which will outline the key issues of the day. Stella Tuite of McEvoy Craig will be focusing on critical points for the SME sector, Business Tax and employer incentives, followed by a Q& A session.

Paddy Callaghan, President of Drogheda & District Chamber of Commerce commented, “This is Minister Donohoe’s first budget and it’s very difficult to predict exactly how it will affect businesses in Drogheda. This is a must attend event, bringing the very best expert analysis and advice on what the Budget means to attendees and their business. The volatility in sterling exchange rates, upcoming Brexit, and the uncertainty about the level of tax cuts means that it’s critical that all local businesses have an opportunity to discuss the financial implications of the Budget. Attendees will have an opportunity to engage with other local businesses in the immediate aftermath of the Budget, and the Q&A session with Stella will shed light on how it directly affects local business”

The event is available to both Chamber members and non-members, and will be an excellent opportunity to network over light refreshments with like-minded business people from the wider Drogheda region. Tickets can be purchased ont hewww.drogh ed a chamber. ie , and the event is kindly supported by First Citizen Finance.

According to Stella Tuite of McEvoy Craig Accountants “It will provide invaluable, practical advice for businesses of all sizes, highlighting opportunities and the best approach to business in these challenging times. Attendees will see a full analysis of this year’s Budget and how the changes will affect both individuals and companies”.
