ANOTHER wonderful afternoon was had when the Drogheda Lions Club hosted their 5th Annual Senior Citizens Afternoon Tea Party in the Westcourt Hotel.

President Franklin Fernandes and Mayor Pio Smith warmly welcomed the 250 guests to an afternoon of fun and very definitely get up and dance music kindly provided by Deco 5.

Guests danced the afternoon away and were accompanied by very dance savvy and enthusiast T/Y students from the Sacred Heart and St Mary’s secondary school.

No guest left empty handed. Some with wonderful raffle prizes and all, most definitely, with their own packet of delicious Chocolate Chip cookies kindly donated by East coast Bakehouse.

The Club would like to thank, most sincerely, their generous table and raffle sponsors, Anglo Printers, Deco 5, TY Students and Thomas and his very able bodied team in the Westcourt.
