ALL STAR CAMP

Sonny’s All Star Camp will be run for the first time this year at the Glenmore GAA Grounds from August 14 to August 18. Catering for both boys and girls in the 5-14 age brackets the children can get registered for the unbeatable value price of only €25 of which €5 will be donated to Crumlin Children’s Hospital. The camp will run each day from 10-a.m. to 2 p.m. For further information please contact any committee member of Glenmore or Tullogher-Rosbercon GAA Clubs.

LATIN MASS

A Traditional Latin Mass with Gregorian Chant will be celebrated this coming Sunday, July 30, in the Holy Trinity Cathedral Barronstrand St Waterford. The celebrant will be Fr Andrzej Komorowski, the Mass will commence at 10 a.m. and all are welcome to attend.

GETTING MARRIED?

There are guidelines to be adhered to if a couple wish to marry in a Catholic church. They must first contact their local parish priest where they live and also book the church in which to marry ensuring that they have a priest to perform the ceremony.

A Pre-Nuptial Enquiry Form must be completed by each person by the priest. For this the following are required, Baptismal Certificate, Confirmation Certificate, and Proof of Freedom to Marry. The couple will also be required to complete a Marriage Preparation Course, it is always best to check with your local priest regarding rules, regulations and practices pertaining to your local parish and diocese.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The Charity, Barnados, which specialises in child welfare are looking for volunteers to help them with collecting funds on Barnados National Collection Day kindly supported by Dell on Friday, September 15. A couple of hours of your time would be much appreciated with organising bag-packs or on street collection on that day.

All money raised will help change the lives of vulnerable children and their families in communities around Ireland.
