Motorist fined €250incourt

A driver disqualified for drink driving was found behind the wheel before his ban was completed.

Andrew Cash (42) of 1 Canon Murphy Park, in Clonroche was caught by Garda Declan Dennehy at Ardcandrisk on January 30

The solicitor representing the defendant told Judge John Cheatle at Wexford Court that Cash drove because his wife was feeling dizzy.

A fine of €250 was set, with no consequential ban from holding a licence.
