Transfer of licence at Clonroche’s Boro Inn
AD INTERIM transfer of the licence on a landmark Clonroche pub was granted to Nora Carty at the District Court sitting in Gorey.
She came to court to confirm that a company of which she is the sole director had taken a lease on the Boro Inn.
The judge was informed that the premises is owned by Thomas Doyle and the licence was previously held by his daughter Orla Doyle.
Ms Carty stated that she had 20 years experience in the licensed trade and that she understood the relevant laws.
No garda objection was offered to the application before the transfer was approved.
