Bail is granted despite objections
BERNARD STAPLETON (30) – also known as Bernard Egan – address given as 10 Priory Street, New Ross was allowed bail at the District Court in Wexford despite garda objections.
Outstanding charges included counts of criminal damage, possession of a knife, theft and motoring matters.
He was allowed his liberty by Judge John Cheatle to stay with his partner and his young child while waiting for the court to deal with all matters.
He agreed to obey a nightly curfew, sign on daily at New Ross garda station and provide gardaí with a working mobile phone number.
