Black tie ball and auction for three good causes
A black tie ball in aid of three local charities - Wexford Hospice Homecare, South East Radiotherapy Trust (SERT) and Wexford Alzheimers - is due to take place at the Talbot Hotel at 7.30 p.m. on Saturday, March 3.
The event - billed as a good night’s entertainment for three good causes - begins with a drinks reception accompanied by classical guitar music played by Ger Lacey followed by music by the popular Divine Invention.
A monster raffle is due to take place on the night and spot prizes are kindly sponsored by local businesses, all of which will be listed on the night.
A light-hearted auction is planned, compered by Billy Dodd.
Items on auction, will include a Colorado Rapids Jersey, signed by Kevin Doyle, boxing gloves signed by Billy Walsh and a story-telling package by Joe Brennan.
