Black tie ball and auc­tion for three good causes

A black tie ball in aid of three lo­cal charities - Wex­ford Hospice Home­care, South East Ra­dio­ther­apy Trust (SERT) and Wex­ford Alzheimers - is due to take place at the Tal­bot Ho­tel at 7.30 p.m. on Satur­day, March 3.

The event - billed as a good night’s en­ter­tain­ment for three good causes - be­gins with a drinks re­cep­tion ac­com­pa­nied by clas­si­cal guitar mu­sic played by Ger Lacey fol­lowed by mu­sic by the pop­u­lar Di­vine In­ven­tion.

A mon­ster raf­fle is due to take place on the night and spot prizes are kindly spon­sored by lo­cal busi­nesses, all of which will be listed on the night.

A light-hearted auc­tion is planned, com­pered by Billy Dodd.

Items on auc­tion, will in­clude a Colorado Rapids Jersey, signed by Kevin Doyle, boxing gloves signed by Billy Walsh and a story-telling pack­age by Joe Bren­nan.
