No smoke without fire!
A SMOKESCREEN descended on Rosbercon during the week when a local landowner carried out a control burn in the area.
With some areas of the country suffering severe bush fires in recent days the sight of smoke billowing towards the far side of the river Barrow initially caused concern for some people in New Ross.
However, it was a controlled fire for which the landowner had been authorised to carry out and it was kept under control at all times.
