The community centre Coffee Shop is open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with beautiful fresh home-baking on offer We are delighted to be open again and look forward to seeing you all. Our ‘Good as New Shop’ is also open.

SPLIT-THE-POT

Congratula­tions to Carmel Sheil on winning €147 in last week’s split-the-pot draw. Draw takes place in the community centre on Sunday after Mass GAA Club news.

The GAA bingo continues every Tuesday at 9 p.m. in Butlers. This week’s jackpot is €500. Why not bring the kids along too with half books available.

GAA lotto – Well done to June Ellard (Seller – Caroline Ellard) on sharing in the match-three prize last week with the numbers drawn of 7, 15, 25 and 30. Tonight’s jackpot is €12,400. How would you spend it?

Cúl Camps – This summer Our Lady’s Island/St Fintan’s Coiste na nÓg will host its first GAA. Cúl Camp. You can register your child for our camp, which takes place over the week of August 13 to August 17, by going to kelloggscu­lcamps.gaa.ie, where you will also have the option to have your child’s camp gear posted to your home pre-camp.

SUMMER SALE

The annual Kilscoran summer sale will take place in Rosslare Community Centre on Wednesday, July 18, at 7 p.m. in aid of Kilscoran Union. St Paul’s AC

We held our End of Season Awards and barbecue last Saturday and it was great to see so many attending. Our awards went to Gergley Pap for Juvenile Athlete of the Year and Emma Owens for our Senior Athlete of the Year. Our most improved athletes of the year went to Artem Kelly and Rob Stirling and finally our Club Person of the Year went to Leo Coy for all his hard work and fundraisin­g throughout the year.

Congratula­tions and well done to Maeve Hayes, who competed in day one of the Wexford Senior County Track and Field Championsh­ips last Wednesday where she took to the track in her first 400m in the Novice Women’s category where she ran a fine race finishing in first place. Day two will take place this Wednesday, July 11, in Enniscorth­y with registrati­on starting at 6.30 p.m. Timetable of events is on our Facebook page.

We wish Maeve and Emma the best for Sunday when they will be competing as part of the Wexford Team in Round 2 of the National League in Athlone.

CARNE SWIM WEEK
