Busy sched­ule for sto­ry­teller Joe

Wex­ford­man Joe Bren­nan was the Ir­ish head­lin­ing sto­ry­teller at the re­cent Cape Clear In­ter­na­tional Sto­ry­telling Fes­ti­val.

Cape Clear Is­land, off the coast of Cork, is home to Ire­land’s pre­mier sto­ry­telling fes­ti­val, bring­ing to­gether sto­ry­tellers from Ire­land, Bri­tain, the US and Europe.

This was Joe’s sec­ond time as the fe­tured Ir­ish sto­ry­teller and he shared the stage with some of the finest sto­ry­tellers from across the world in­clud­ing Hun­gar­ian sto­ry­teller Czenge for a joint con­cert en­ti­tled ‘From my place to yours: a jour­ney through sto­ries’.

Joe is look­ing for­ward to a busy few months of teach­ing sto­ry­telling to Early Child­care and So­cial Care stu­dents at Sligo IT , school vis­its, Hal­loween events and per­for­mances of his early years the­atre show ‘Star Boy’. In Novem­ber, he will be trav­el­ling to Amer­ica to tell sto­ries and fa­cil­i­tate work­shops at the Euro Kids Fes­ti­val in Washington DC.
