Fined on the dou­ble for drunken an­tics

A MAN twice found in­ca­pably drunk in the streets of New Ross last year was con­victed on the dou­ble at the Dis­trict Court of pub­lic or­der of­fences.

Er­win Walaslewski (43), from 25 Ard na Gréine, New Ross came to the at­ten­tion of gardaí on Au­gust 5, 2017 when he was dis­cov­ered ly­ing on the ground in North Quay.

The fol­low­ing month he was again ar­rested, this time highly in­tox­i­cated and un­able to walk un­aided at Quay Street.

Walaslewski was not in court as fines of €200 were handed down for be­ing drunk in pub­lic.
