Fined on the double for drunken antics
A MAN twice found incapably drunk in the streets of New Ross last year was convicted on the double at the District Court of public order offences.
Erwin Walaslewski (43), from 25 Ard na Gréine, New Ross came to the attention of gardaí on August 5, 2017 when he was discovered lying on the ground in North Quay.
The following month he was again arrested, this time highly intoxicated and unable to walk unaided at Quay Street.
Walaslewski was not in court as fines of €200 were handed down for being drunk in public.
