North End United cruised into the third round of the FAI Youth Cup when they overwhelme­d Curracloe United 9-0 on Saturday.

Leon Sinnott and Ciarán Carthy both bagged doubles, while Jamie Dawson, Niall Connolly, Rocko Stako, Gloudie Makiese and John Hore chipped in with a goal apiece.

Campile United also progressed to the next round after seeing off Wicklow side Avonmore 3-1. Jack Kehoe, Matt Foley and Cathal Mernagh hit the back of the net for the winners. for the winners.

Aidan Casey and Jamie Foley both netted doubles, while Oumair Rauf also got in on the act for the winners.

Louis Schwartz was the star of the show for Camolin Celtic, grabbing five goals as they chalked up a comprehens­ive 9-1 win over Glynn Barntown.

Alan Murphy (two), Michael Malcolmson and Brian Murphy got their other goals.
