There was no win­ner of the €8,600 jack­pot in last Tues­days draw. The win­ning num­bers were 20, 23, 26 and 30. St James’ Club had no match-three win­ners. The jack­pot for the next draw, on Novem­ber 13, will be €8,900. Tick­ets are avail­able from com­mit­tee mem­bers and lo­cal shops and pubs. €50 yearly lotto tick­ets are also avail­able from 086 8820773.


St James GAA is hold­ing its AGM on Satur­day, Novem­ber 17, at 4 p.m. in the club house in Mer­sheen. All ex­ist­ing mem­bers and in­com­ing mem­bers are re­quested to at­tend this im­por­tant meet­ing. Please come along and be an ac­tive mem­ber in your club.


There will be a Flower Ar­range­ment Demon­stra­tion by Lily Bloom Florist in St Louis Day Care Cen­tre, Rams­grange on Thurs­day, Novem­ber 15, at 7.30 p.m. Tick­ets are €10 and can be pur­chased at St Louis Day Care Cen­tre. All pro­ceeds in aid of St Louis Day Care Cen­tre.


New Ross Re­mem­bers – First World War 1914-1918 – on Satur­day, Novem­ber 10, in St Michael’s Theatre, New Ross, at 8 p.m. Mu­sic, songs, po­ems and let­ters from the trenches in mem­ory of the 250,000 Ir­ish­men, who went to fight and over 50,000 who lost their lives. Sun­days cof­fee morn­ing was a fan­tas­tic suc­cess. Some of our par­ents and es­pe­cially our chil­dren should be on Mas­ter.

Chef. There was a won­der­ful se­lec­tion of mouth-wa­ter­ing treats on of­fer and we raised a grand to­tal of €675. Thank you to ev­ery­one who baked, served, cleaned up, bought cakes and helped make it a great morn­ing. We will be hold­ing more of these ‘Com­mu­nity Spirit Build­ing Events’ in the next few months and look for­ward to your con­tin­ued sup­port.
