IFA president the guest speaker at Wexford AGM

WEXFORD IFA will host their AGM on Thursday March 11 at 8pm via Microsoft Teams. Guest speaker on the night will be IFA President, Tim Cullinan.

He will discuss and update members on farming issues, in particular the new CAP proposed policies that may have an impact on farmers’ income by 2023. The meeting link will be sent out to all branch officers but this meeting is open to all of our IFA members here in Wexford. Also on the night, county commodity officers will give an overview of the challenging year of 2020. If you would like to join the meeting, please email wexford@ifa.ie to express an interest.

IFA are running a national campaign to combat the recent dog attacks on sheep.

As part of the campaign, farmers will be putting up signs ‘No dogs allowed’ on farm gates across the country.
