The Supervet Noel Fitzpatrick continues to save animals that need his brand of cuttingedge veterinary surgery. This feelgood series doesn’t try too hard. There’s no over-emoting or swelling music, just cameras capturing the four-legged dramas. Of all the TV supers – Supernanny, Super Gran, SuperTed, Supermarket Sweep – miracle worker Fitzpatrick is the most heroic. This time, Noel takes on an emergency case of a Persian cat that’s been hit by a car, requiring treatments involving a skin graft as well as packing its crushed bones back together. A rescue dog has a cancerous tumor in his jaw. Noel and his colleague Jonathan manage to remove the diseased part of the jaw bone, and using the latest 3D technology, they design a custom made implant for him.
