October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so I’ve been flat out doing as much as I can, having lost my sister Tricia to the disease five years ago.

Look Good Feel Better, see lookgoodfeelbetter. ie, is a charity that does some really amazing work, and desperately needs funds in order to keep operating its free hospital workshops.

Basically, it supports women undergoing cancer treatment, improving their well-being and confidence by providing free, non-medical, brand-neutral workshops, and sharing advice on how to manage the appearance-related side-effects caused by cancer and its treatment.

I’m helping the charity with its campaign day, which is this Thursday, October 22. Arnotts are donating €2 from the sale of all lipsticks and lipglosses on the day, so why not treat yourself to a new lippy like this YSL Rouge Pur, above left, €33, in No13 Le Orange: an exotic, rich red-orange.
