I love a bit of magic. Try this, and be amazed : Think of a number between 0 and 20; add 32 to it; multiply by two; subtract one. Now close your eyes. It’s dark, isn’t it? Hahahaha!

Speaking of magic and being amazed, Charlotte Tilbury’s new Magic Foundation, right, €40, from Brown Thomas, has half the country going gaga for it. Can Charlotte do no wrong? Having met her a few times, I can confirm that the flame-haired multi-tasking make-up artist/ businesswoman really gets what women want.

If you like a pretty good coverage, almost like Estee Lauder’s Double Wear, than you’ll love this, because even though it has all that coverage, it feels light on the skin.

I loved how I felt like I wasn’t wearing anything, and no, I will not insert a joke here — for once!

It was five years in the making, and Charlotte wasn’t happy until she hit on the perfect formula; it covers acne, scarring, redness and discolouration, smooths out wrinkles and wakes up tiredlooking skin.

So this foundation really is a game-changer, as it gives you the most fabulous and flawless — yet natural — appearance.
