Dreams are only dreams until you actually take steps to make them happen. I was a dreamer for a long time, but I never really had true selfbelief. My dream was to write a book that was supportive, informative, but most importantly one that focused on a mum’s well-being, and not just the baby’s.

My breakthrough moment was the day of my book launch. It was a day I thought would never happen to someone like me. It was the hardest, yet most rewarding project in my life. I’m incredibly proud that it is the first wellness book ever to be written for new mums worldwide.

As I flicked back through the book, I thought to myself, ‘You did it’. I was as proud as punch. My journey changed after that night, and I really felt at home on my new path as a wellness coach. I had worked hard, and turned

my life around.

At that moment, I knew there was no going back. As I spoke that evening, I looked down at all my friends, family and colleagues, and for the first time felt really confident in my abilities and the direction that my life was taking.

People’s perceptions of me changed, too. I had finally found my purpose, and now I love what I do.
