Removing seeds from a chilli is something we do a lot more than the hardy Indians, as the seeds and the membrane attaching them to the chilli are the hottest part. To take out the seeds, just cut the top (the stalk end) off the chilli, turn the chilli upside down and roll it between your hands. The seeds will fall out of the chilli onto your worktop.
