Louise Kennedy et al to showcase for Saint Joseph’s
Deja vu, as they say in Saint-paul-de-vence? Last week, this column had Alison Doody in the Four Seasons Hotel in Florence, and now here she is in my column again. This time, the beautiful ex-wife of Gavin O’reilly (remember, remember him?) was spotted in Reid’s Palace in Madeira, Portugal.
There was me thinking that only very old people went to Madeira. Far from it, evidently. Actress Alison enjoyed a glamorous breakfast and worked it off later in her very trendy Lululemon workout gear in the gym. Where will she be jetting off to next? Tune in next week and I’ll tell you.
Meanwhile, equally glam TV star Elaine Crowley, in a glam black dress, celebrated her 40th birthday in the VIP suite in Krystle nightclub two weeks ago with an illustrious gang from TV3. The almost-asillustrious Mayo and Tyrone GAA teams were in more recently — albeit, on separate nights. And why not? Last Saturday night Lee Moran of MTV’S Ex On The Beach was also in the super-chic nightclub on Harcourt Street, along with various hipsters.
Speaking of hip, New Yorkbased Kerry international designer of some note Don O’neill is joining Louise Kennedy and the likes of Deborah Veale, Umit Kutluk and Helen Steele to showcase their autumn-winter 2017 collections at the Conrad Dublin on October 13.
Lorraine Keane is the MC and Allianz has come on board as an event partner, so it will be a great night with all funds raised going to support Saint Joseph’s Shankill and their vision of creating Ireland’s first village for dementia sufferers. Tickets, priced €100, from www.saintjosephsshankill.ie or by calling 01 271 9204.
