Music: Eugene Onegin

Sunday Independent (Ireland) - Living - - REVIEW -

My job involves listening to and working with a lot of opera singers. At home, my two daughters play a variety of instruments, and at the weekends I do a lot of work with youth orchestras. Right now, if I had to go to a desert island with one piece of music it would be Tchaikovsky’s opera Eugene Onegin. This piece has so many layers of emotion and secrets to yield, even if I’ve listened to it since I was a teenager.
