Dunne’s hits 66 in Italy, but still six shots off pace
PAUL Dunne carded a 66 yesterday at the Italian Open but still found himself six off the lead heading in to the final day. The Greystones man was five-under for his round, picking up four birdies and an eagle on the par-five 14th.
England’s Matt Wallace has a twoshot lead going into the final round after hitting five birdies and a bogey to leave him on 17-under.
Wallace, co-leader with Australian Marcus Fraser at the start of the day, began his round with a birdie at the long first and tapped in for another at the fifth before missing a par at the short seventh.
