O’Hanlon winner helps Cork move clear at top

Sunday Independent (Ireland) - Sport - - SOCCER -

SUBSTITUTE Josh O’Hanlon’s 70th-minute winner moved Cork City three points clear at the top of the Premier Division as they came from behind to see off Limerick 2-1 at Turner’s Cross.

Danny Morrissey had put the visitors ahead in the 34th minute. But before that, they had wasted a great opportunity as Karl Sheppard’s penalty — awarded for a pull-back on Jimmy Keohane — was saved by Brendan Clarke. Limerick’s lead lasted just over a minute though as Graham Cummins levelled for City.
