Memorial service for Cameron Reilly

Sunday Independent (Ireland) - - Today In Your -

The mother of murdered teenager Cameron Reilly has thanked staff and students of Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) for a memorial ceremony held for him.

Cameron (18) was a first-year student in hospitality studies in DkIT when he was killed. A man has been charged with his murder.

Last Wednesday the college held the ceremony and planted a tree in Cameron’s memory.

Afterwards the hospitalities studies department said: “While we all wish we were gathering under different circumstances, it was a fitting event to remember a lovely young man who left us too soon. Cameron, you still live in our hearts and minds.”
