Sunday Independent (Ireland) - - Presidential Election -

2018 has been a pivotal year for women’s equality in Ireland and globally. It is 100 years since women were first allowed to vote here and the Eighth Amendment was removed following a campaign by women and women’s organisations throughout the country. Globally, the #MeToo movement has highlighted the experiences of discrimination and harassment faced by women and girls. Building on this renewed interest and energy, the National Women’s Council of Ireland asked the presidential candidates to share their views on women’s equality in Ireland
