Man drowns in Co Louth fishing accident

A man aged in his 30s died after a fishing accident in Drogheda, Co Louth, yesterday. The incident happened in the Boyne near Townley Hall shortly after 6.30pm.Garda, coast guard units and a local river rescue crew attended the incident, which is being treated as a tragic accident.
