Men told to stay away from address

The Argus - - NEWS -

Two men accused of having an axes, knives and a screwdriver at an address in Collon have been ordered to stay away from it as part of their bail conditions.

David Ward, (26), Clifden House, Ravel, Dunleer and 32-year-old Martin Ward, Listowel, Co Kerry, are accused of possession of three knives, a screwdriver and an axe at Ardee Road, Collon on January 18. Evidence of the men’s arrest was presented to the judge in Dundalk court last week and Gardai said there was no objection to bail on condition that the men sign on twice a week at their local Garda station, remain sober and stay away from Ardee Road, Collon.

The men were released on their own bail of €500 each and are to appear again at Drogheda District Court on February 3.
