NO PROGRESS
Cllr. Maeve Yore is frustrated at the lack of progress repairing a broken sewerage drain in Hazelwood Avenue, Bay Estate.
Not for the first time, she has been told it is a matter for Irish Water.
Director of service, Paddy Donnelly, said Irish Water has progressed the underground piping issue, but not brought it to a conclusion.
Cllr. Yore said this ‘sink hole’ problem is ongoing eight years, and Irish Water wasn’t around eight years ago.
