The Taste of Togher Festival

CROWDS from all over Ireland and indeed internatio­nal visitors attended another very successful Taste of Togher.

The Glyde Inn situated in the small picturesqu­e fishing village of Annagassan hosted the sixth annual festival. Food, food, crafts and Vikings were the order of the day. There was a wide range of local products and produce to try, from cheese and honey to jam, crafts beers, liqueurs and the very trendy …. gin!

The ‘Star Biz for 2017’ was Listoke Gin School who celebrated their one year anniversar­y and showcased how to make gin with their portable gin still. The Crafty Rock hosted the craft village, showcasing a wide range of local products and this year The Vikings were back in Annagassan as The Magnus Viking Group setup a living history Viking Centre.

On the Flo Gas Main stage in The Glyde Inn there was a variety of Cookery demonstrat­ions including Tara Walker from East Coast Cookery School and Chef Balazs from The Glyde Inn.
