A €75 fine and four-year driving disqualification has been imposed on Christopher McLaughlin, 306 Ballycoleman Estate, Strabane, Co. Tyrone.
He pleaded guilty to a charge of failing to provide a specimen at Dundalk garda station on 22 May, 2017.
McLaughlin has no previous convictions, and his solicitor Frank McDonnell said he was otherwise co-operative on the occasion. He travels across the border to work.
The judge agreed the disqualification could commence on 6 May, 2018.
