Chain­saw ac­cused

A 37-year-old man ac­cused of an of­fence with a chain­saw, has had his case ad­journed, as direc­tions from the DPP are awaited.

Conor McLough­lin, 11 Cloch Mor Cot­tages, Knock­nago­ran, Omeath, is charged with hav­ing in a pub­lic place a chain­saw with the in­ten­tion of un­law­fully caus­ing in­jury to and in­tim­i­dat­ing an­other per­son.

He is also charged with crim­i­nal dam­age. Both of­fences are al­leged to have oc­curred at Howes Bar, Knock­nago­ran, on 22 De­cem­ber, 2017.

The mat­ter was put back to 16 May next for men­tion.
