Shopfront event dur­ing En­ter­prise week

IN an era of on­line shop­ping, could an im­proved shopfront set a busi­ness apart, help­ing to con­nect with cus­tomers and drive prof­itabil­ity?

Well, that’s the big ques­tion be­ing asked, and an­swered, in an event for re­tail­ers tak­ing place dur­ing Lo­cal En­ter­prise Week Louth.

The event, called ‘Not Just A Pretty Face’ will fo­cus on how brand­ing de­sign and shopfront can all help build a re­tail busi­ness, from the in­side out.

The event takes place on Tues­day March 6th from 1 -5pm at Creative Spark, Dun­dalk.

Hosted by Sarah Daly of Creative Spark, the event fea­tures Trevor Fin­negan of Our Type, a graphic de­signer who has been trav­el­ling the coun­try cap­tur­ing im­ages of Ire­land’s most strik­ing shopfronts. Trevor will be joined by Martin McEl­lig­ott of Dun­dalk BIDS and An­gela Dul­laghan, Con­ser­va­tion Of­fi­cer with Louth County Coun­cil, talk­ing about the sup­ports avail­able to busi­ness. Kililan Walsh of Grand­son, a Dun­dalk based de­sign agency, will talk brand­ing while Marty Gar­land will dis­cuss the im­por­tance of sign-writ­ing.

The event will also of­fer ad­vice and sup­port on ap­ply­ing for lo­cal au­thor­ity fi­nan­cial aid towards im­prov­ing and grow­ing your busi­ness.
