Shopfront event during Enterprise week
IN an era of online shopping, could an improved shopfront set a business apart, helping to connect with customers and drive profitability?
Well, that’s the big question being asked, and answered, in an event for retailers taking place during Local Enterprise Week Louth.
The event, called ‘Not Just A Pretty Face’ will focus on how branding design and shopfront can all help build a retail business, from the inside out.
The event takes place on Tuesday March 6th from 1 -5pm at Creative Spark, Dundalk.
Hosted by Sarah Daly of Creative Spark, the event features Trevor Finnegan of Our Type, a graphic designer who has been travelling the country capturing images of Ireland’s most striking shopfronts. Trevor will be joined by Martin McElligott of Dundalk BIDS and Angela Dullaghan, Conservation Officer with Louth County Council, talking about the supports available to business. Kililan Walsh of Grandson, a Dundalk based design agency, will talk branding while Marty Garland will discuss the importance of sign-writing.
The event will also offer advice and support on applying for local authority financial aid towards improving and growing your business.
This event is free and is part of Local Enterprise Week Louth hosted by Louth County Council and Local Enterprise Office Louth. Check out the full line-up by visiting www.localenterprise.ie/louth.
