Artists donate to auction for Syria

A number of local artists have donated work for the Syria’s Vibes Art Auction launching Thursday March 8th, with the aim of raising funds to support displaced families in Syria and Iraq.

The exhibition launches on Thursday in Bagots Hutton on Ormond Quay, with art, wine, canapés from one of Dublin’s top chefs, and the artists involved talking about their work.

Local artists who have contributed work for the auction include Dunleer-based Adrian+Shane, Adrienne M Finnerty, Kate Beagan and Patricia Murphy.

Their original works will be sold at live auction in Bagots Hutton on Sunday March 25th with monies raised providing direct support to victims of the ongoing war in Syria. For all information on the auction, including online/telephone bidding, visit www.syriasvibes. com.
