Parade

All is set for Blackrock’s Saint Patrick’s Day parade on Saturday. The parade, the theme for which is “Coastal Carnival” will commence at the earlier time of 1.30pm.

It will follow the customary route from Cocklehill down along the Main Street, and disperse on Sandy Lane.

Prizes will be awarded to entries that closest match the theme.

The starting time has been brought forward from other years on account of Ireland meeting England at Twickenham in the big rugby match later in the evening.
