The Art Hive at Blackrock Park

An Táin Arts Centre, Blackrock Park, Blackrock Tidy Towns, and Create Louth are collaborat­ing to produce an outdoor art studio for families in the gardens of Blackrock Park on Saturday, July 14 and Saturday, July 28th. The Art Hive is an internatio­nal initiative encouragin­g community art studios, where everyone is welcome as an artist. Pamela Whitaker will lead The Art Hive in Blackrock Park, inviting families to explore the inspiratio­n of garden studios and work with natural materials. Families are invited to also learn more about the park’s pollinator project and biodiversi­ty projects with school children. Families will meet at An Táin Arts Centre at 10.30 am on Saturday, July 14th or Saturday, July 28th. Tickets €5 from An Táin Arts Centre in addition to bus fare on the Halpenny Bus to Blackrock.
