The Blessing of the Graves ceremonies in the three Peninsula parishes continues over the Summer months. In Lordship the ceremony is on this coming Thursday July 12 at 7.30pm. Those attending are asked to bring along a bottle of water to be blessed and sprinkled on their family graves. A special collection will also be taken up at the cemetery gates for ongoing upkeep and maintenance of the graveyard. The ceremony at Boher is on Saturday July 21 at 7pm; Omeath is on Sunday August 12 at 11.00am; Mountbagnal is on Wednesday August 14 at 8.15pm; Cill Mhuire is on Wednesday August 15.
