Get some relief for your dry eyes

-

Dry eyes can feel uncomfortable, gritty, strained, or tired. You might not know that your eyes are dry unless you go to your optician. They often suggest that you take Omega oils and eye drops to provide extra lubrication.

Natural solutions for dry eyes include A.Vogel Eye drops which contain Hyaluronic Acid - nature’s moisturiser and lubricator for dry eyes. These drops also contain Eyebright, a traditional herbal remedy used as a tonic for eyes. It also contains tannins to help counter infection. This combination will give your eyes a moisture boost to relieve dry, irritated and tired eyes. Simply drop one drop into your eyes 3-4 times a day for soothing relief. They’re safe to use if you wear contact lenses. There are two options available, moisturising or extra moisturising.

Eye Logic Dry Eye spray is an option if you prefer to use a spray over drops. They’re easy to use, you simply spray once or twice onto closed eyes. Eye Logic improves the lubrication of the eyes and eyelids to soothe and relieve dry, gritty, and tired eyes. You can feel the strain leaving your eyes almost immediately so that they feel relaxed and soothed. The spray will also help if you experience sensitivity to light, or you get a burning sensation in your eyes. They’re suitable for people who wear contact lenses.

Essential Omega oils and fatty acids are essential for eye health and lubrication, especially omega 3 and omega 7. You can include flax seeds in your diet but if your eyes are particularly dry then I would recommend that you take capsules for several months. FMD Cold Pressed Flax Oil is a brand that I recommend regularly. It’s also recommended before having laser eye surgery to ensure that the eyes are well moisturised and hydrated. Sea buckthorn Omega 7 is another option for lubrication of all the mucous membranes in the body, especially the eyes.

Vitamin A is the vitamin most associated with the health of all mucous membranes in the body, it’s found in liver, carrots, green leafy vegetables, and brightly coloured fruit.

Air conditioning, pollution, reading or staring at computers for long periods can aggravate dry eyes.

I hope these tips help you to relieve your dry eye symptoms.
