WITH their manager Wayne Conroy resigning during the week Glenmuir had Kevin McArdle back in charge for this away fixture on Sunday in division 3 of the North East League when they fought back twice in a topsy turvy firsthalf to earn a draw- their third of the campaign. They still are searching for their first league win.

They got off to the worst possible start, falling behind after only seconds when the home striker nipped in to score after the kick-off was played back towards the Glenmuir.

They recovered quickly, equalising in the sixth minute when Liam Cunning- ham crossed from the left for Sean Bailey to find the net.

The home side went back ahead and only ten minutes gone only for Mark Molloy to restore parity with a lovely strike from 25 yards ten minutes later.

Glenmuir edged in front five minutes from the break when the Summerhill goalkeeper misjudged a long ball by Edgar Bitanis and it went over his head to allow Liam Cunningham a tap-in into the net.

Summerhilll restored parity about the hour mark, and that’s how it stayed with the second-half a scrappy affair and no way as exciting at the first period with few scoring chances created. GLENMUIR: Stephen Kettle, Edgar Bitanis, Willie Kelly, Colm Matthews, Rory Phelan, Daniel Mullen, Mark Molloy, Eimhin Caldwell, Sean Bailey, Josh Bailey ( Niall Cunningham ), Liam Cunningham.
