Story of the Tain

AS part of the Winter Solstice Festival, the Ring of Gullion Partnership is hosting a talk by the Dundalk born archaelogist Paul Gosling on Thursday in The Cross Square Hotel, Crossmaglen.

Paul, a lecturer at Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology will discuss the route of the Táin Bó Cúailnge, the story of the epic cattle raid of Cooley reputed to have taken place during winter sometime around the time of Christ.
