When the Ahmeds notice that something may be wrong with the baby, they rush her to the hospital and call Hayley, asking her to meet them there. Hayley arrives just in time to hear the good news that everything is fine.

Later, the social worker arrives at the hospital to discuss recent events and Mariam and Kat both fight Hayley’s corner. Hayley has now bonded with her daughter and wants to raise her, but everyone is concerned when Bev ends up taking the baby and Hayley follows her.

Meanwhile, Linda shocks the rest of the Carters by telling Ritchie that her services are no longer needed when it comes to Mick’s case. Tina is convinced that Linda is up to something and when she sneakily checks her phone, she makes a worrying discovery.

Later, Tina’s worst fears are confirmed when she follows Linda to a cosy meeting with Stuart at a cafe.

Elsewhere, Cora isn’t coping with baby Abi as well as she’s making out. After an incident outside, Cora confides in Martin about her troubles.
