seven travel com­pa­nies have been se­lected to ful­fil the busi­ness travel needs of the UK’S pub­lic sec­tor or­gan­i­sa­tions fol­low­ing a rig­or­ous se­lec­tion process by the Crown Com­mer­cial Ser­vice.

Train­line has been ap­pointed to serve On­line Rail Book­ing needs; HRS will han­dle On­line Ac­com­mo­da­tion Book­ing; and Di­ver­sity Travel will take on On­line Air Book­ing re­quire­ments.

Se­lected to serve or­gan­i­sa­tions’ On­line and Off­line Busi­ness Travel Book­ing needs are three travel man­age­ment com­pa­nies: Capita Travel and Events, HRG and Red­fern. Lastly, Calder Con­fer­ences landed the Venue find­ing Ser­vices and Group Ac­com­mo­da­tion Book­ing cat­e­gory.

The seven con­tracts will ex­pire in Fe­bru­ary 2021. CCS says: “The five new com­mer­cial agree­ments in­clude on­line and off­line ser­vice pro­vi­sions, spe­cial­ist ser­vices from spe­cial­ist providers, plus zero and low-cost book­ing fee mod­els.”
