The fig­ures come from the lat­est Na­tional Rail Pas­sen­ger Sur­vey from TRANS­PORT FO­CUS which puts over­all sat­is­fac­tion at 81% >> GRAND CEN­TRAL is ap­ply­ing to the Of­fice of Rail and Road (ORR) to op­er­ate more ser­vices on its North East and West Rid­ing routes. If ap­proved, the ad­di­tional ser­vices be­tween Sun­der­land and Lon­don Kings Cross and West York­shire and Lon­don would add 1,600 seats to and from the cap­i­tal per day. The op­er­a­tor was ranked num­ber one for over­all jour­ney sat­is­fac­tion in the afore­men­tioned NRPS sur­vey
