Catherine will cook up a storm in Newmarket

DUHAL­LOW food­ies are in for a treat as famed chef Catherine Ful­vio will host a cook­ery demon­stra­tion for Newmarket Mo­tors’ cus­tomers at a char­ity event next month.

Catherine, who is re­garded as one of Ire­land’s most tal­ented chefs, runs Bal­ly­knocken House and Cook­ery School in County Wick­low. She is mar­ried to Si­cil­ian, Clau­dio, and they have two chil­dren, Char­lotte and Rowan.

When not at home teach­ing her classes, she trav­els the coun­try giv­ing cook­ery demon­stra­tions and is fre­quently on TV. She is also the brand am­bas­sador for Volk­swa­gen.

On Wed­nes­day, Oc­to­ber 4 there will be a drinks re­cep­tion at 7pm at Newmarket Mo­tors along with nib­bles be­fore the 90 minute demon­stra­tion by Catherine which will be pro­jected onto screens in the show­room and the full recipes will be pro­vided. There will also be a ques­tion and an­swer ses­sion at the end of the cook­ery demon­stra­tion.

The pro­ceeds of the char­ity night will go to the Hope Foun­da­tion, which helps chil­dren in se­vere de­pri­va­tion in Cal­cutta.
