Fam­ily and friends join Gerry on Easy Street for launch

MU­SI­CIANS and singers from across the Mal­low re­gion were present at O’Ke­effe’s Bar last Satur­day evening for the launch of Gerry O’Callaghan’s first CD, en­ti­tled East Street.

All self-penned by the pop­u­lar singer / song­writer, the al­bum con­tains ten tracks which was pro­duced by Dan Mur­phy.

Tadhg Cur­tis of Mal­low Art Al­liance ad­dressed the gath­er­ing and wished Gerry suc­cess in his new ven­ture.

Mu­si­cal col­leagues Con Collins, Kevin Hor­gan, Dave Skin­ner, Jonathan O’Sul­li­van, Ben­jie Hal­li­han, Denny O’Sul­li­van, Mick McCarthy and Jimmy Bo­han were just some of the ar­ray of singers and mu­si­cians who per­formed on the night to cel­e­brate the launch.

This new lo­cal CD is now on sale at Katie’s Newsagents, Ea­sons, Bo­han’s dry clean­ers, Philip’s Book­shop and Cafe Blasta at Mal­low Rail­way Sta­tion.
