Look­ing at the fu­ture of the Ir­ish lan­guage

THE oireach­tas joint com­mit­tee on Ir­ish lan­guage and Gaeltacht is vis­it­ing the Muscrai Gaeltacht on Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 2. The com­mit­tee pro­motes the use of the Ir­ish lan­guage in the arts, ed­u­ca­tion, sport, busi­ness, me­dia and pol­i­tics. The com­mit­tee will talk to var­i­ous groups in the area about the fu­ture of the Ir­ish lan­guage. Peo­ple or groups can sub­mit sub­mis­sions on the fu­ture of the lan­guage to Mac­room or Ballincol­lig of­fice of Ain­drias Moyni­han TD and he will en­sure they are brought to the at­ten­tion of the com­mit­tee.
