Looking at the future of the Irish language
THE oireachtas joint committee on Irish language and Gaeltacht is visiting the Muscrai Gaeltacht on Monday, October 2. The committee promotes the use of the Irish language in the arts, education, sport, business, media and politics. The committee will talk to various groups in the area about the future of the Irish language. People or groups can submit submissions on the future of the language to Macroom or Ballincollig office of Aindrias Moynihan TD and he will ensure they are brought to the attention of the committee.
