Culture Night concert in St James’ Church
THOSE who attended the Culture Night concert at St. James’ Church truly enjoyed a wonderful night of entertainment.
Hosted by Tadhg Curtis, the event began at 8.30pm with a most entertaining performance from Casadh O’Thuaidh, a young traditional group which is made up of students from many towns throughout north Cork. The group’s show included music, song and dance which was a huge hit with the audience.
Cor Magh Ealla were also applauded for their rendering of such classics as Mack The Knife and When I’m Sixtyunder new conductor John Casey.
Baritone Eoin Leahy and Classical Guitarist Noel Walsh also gave a brilliant performance following their appearance earlier in the year at the same venue.
