Cul­ture Night con­cert in St James’ Church

THOSE who at­tended the Cul­ture Night con­cert at St. James’ Church truly en­joyed a won­der­ful night of en­ter­tain­ment.

Hosted by Tadhg Cur­tis, the event be­gan at 8.30pm with a most en­ter­tain­ing per­for­mance from Casadh O’Thuaidh, a young tra­di­tional group which is made up of stu­dents from many towns through­out north Cork. The group’s show in­cluded mu­sic, song and dance which was a huge hit with the au­di­ence.

Cor Magh Ealla were also ap­plauded for their ren­der­ing of such clas­sics as Mack The Knife and When I’m Six­tyun­der new con­duc­tor John Casey.

Bari­tone Eoin Leahy and Clas­si­cal Gui­tarist Noel Walsh also gave a bril­liant per­for­mance fol­low­ing their ap­pear­ance ear­lier in the year at the same venue.
