Business awards nominees revealed
FROM drones to aromas and from energy conservation to spuds, the shortlist for this year’s IRD Duhallow Business Awards showcase the wide variety of entrepreneurship thriving across the region.
Eighteen nominees have been shortlisted for the fifth annual awards and they are revealed for the first time in our special supplement, inside this week.
Notable among the nominees is the scope and variety of entrepreneurs emerging across rural North and Mid Cork. These range from mums finally taking the plunge to realise long-held dreams, to a young man who’s hoping his ‘eye in the sky’ business will take off while he’s keeping his feet firmly planted on the ground.
Meanwhile, the shortlist also includes household names many will recognise instantly.
All will now get their moment in the spotlight, in our supplement, at the glittering awards night next week, November 16, at the James O’Keeffe Institute in Newmarket, and forever after if they happen to be among the lucky few taking home a trophy on the night.
First, however, we introduce them in our supplement, inside.
