THERE can be few greater thrills in sport than watch­ing a horse that you have backed sprint­ing up the home straight and past the win­ning post, ahead of the rest of the field.

The grand­stand it­self can eas­ily ac­com­mo­date up to 6,000 peo­ple in com­fort, with the nearby Pav­il­ion big enough to take an­other 4,000 peo­ple.
