It’s all action in the great outdoors at Ballyhass

The Corkman - - OPINION -

BALLYHASS Lakes is one of Ireland’s best known still spring water trout fishery, with 11 four star holiday homes and an activity centre for groups and schools, sports clubs and teams, and corporate team building.

Once a limestone quarry, The complex is now a giant outdoor playground, awash with facilities and space to explore, rediscover and play.

Ballyhass Lakes Activity Centre & Wakepark just outside of Cecilstown has by now become the Adventure Capital of North Cork offering everything from Kayaking, Zip Lining high ropes courses, rock climbing and over 15 other Outdoor Adventure Activities on the one incredible quarry site. Making their mark in large group bookings catering for over 150 participants at a time. Schools, Corporates, Scouts, Youth Groups & Sports teams are all regular visitors to this incredible old quarry facility.

As the centre has grown so have the staff numbers.

Most recently and perhaps most applicable to the local community Ballyhass has taken advantage of its fantastic crystal clear waters and installed Ireland’s Largest
