Just 4 Fun Kids Camp is well on the road to suc­cess

SET up in 2013, Just 4 Fun Kids Camp Ltd ( t/r Just 4 Leisure) teacher Kevin Collins recog­nised the need for chil­dren to have stim­u­lat­ing ac­tiv­i­ties which would be of ben­e­fit to both their men­tal and phys­i­cal well­be­ing dur­ing the hol­i­day breaks.

In 2012 Kevin did a trial run with a camp in Bantry (Co­laiste Pobail Bhean­ntrai)) and the re­sults were very promis­ing. “With this in mind and with the won­der­ful help of my fam­ily we brain­stormed ways to make this grow,” said Kevin.

IRD Duhal­low was ap­proached and Just 4 Leisure se­cured a grant of €50,000 to pur­chase in­flat­a­bles and sports equip­ment to use for hire and use in the camps.

Their tar­get cus­tomers are par­ents who may be in em­ploy­ment and need a safe and rea­son­ably priced ser­vice for their chil­dren for a week in the hol­i­days. Af­ter many months and long hours of mar­ket­ing and phys­i­cal work, Just 4 Fun Kids Camps were in 11 lo­ca­tions for the sum­mer 2017 in the Mun­ster area.

The goal is sim­ply to en­sure that ev­ery child en­joys the ac­tiv­ity while en­hanc­ing their so­cial de­vel­op­ment, team work and re­spect for each other while hav­ing fun. Th­ese are the core
